It felt like we found somewhere the locals would be eating. Authentic and excellent food with very professional and friendly staff. Highly recommended. We ate there two nights during our 4 night stay

We loved the food and wine! There were many good options but we had the snapper and the sirloin, after we had an appertivo (the club sandwich). Such great flavors. Service was a little slow but was great up until the end. We were trying to pay the bill and asked if we could tip since we enjoyed everything, and our waiter responded &ldquo;we don&rsquo;t do that in Italy, you just pay the bill&rdquo; which we found fairly rude. I&rsquo;ve been to Rome, Milan, and Florence where I&rsquo;ve always been able to tip. So just a note to not assume that guests haven&rsquo;t been elsewhere in Italy/around the world or be standoffish when they&rsquo;re trying to compliment the restaurant.. definitely hurt the vibe a bit.

This is a very special and unique restaurant. You select your fish when you arrive and the style in which you would like it cooked &hellip; grilled, fried, Mediterranean. It is weighed and sent to the kitchen to be prepared. You also select the accompaniments. The fish is fresh, the preparation perfect. We went back a second night after our first visit. Don&rsquo;t miss this when you are in Lecce!

Maybe it was our fault of not realising it&rsquo;s more a wine bar than a restaurant! Excellent food but too pricy compared to other excellent Eateries in Puglia. .

Good food and a nice atmosphere. Worth a visit..

Had a delightful and delicious meal in a small room adjacent to the terrace. The decor was pleasant and the food was excellent. With a waitress who wanted to make sure we had a great time, we were sure to remember and return to this restaurant. Delightful.

You would not expect a pizzaria in a strip mall to deliver this kind of quality. Not that it is impossible, but even most large houses do not take the trouble to source ingredients and provide caring service. Mauricio, as we learned, started his business on a shoestring 14 years ago. It has since blossomed post COVID. He expanded into the space next door. He sources the most exquisite cheeses from a young group of artisan cheesmakers from  the North. It&#39;s a king of gorgonzola that is dreamy, get some with your appetizer plate is coppocola, uncooked creamy prosciutto, and a craft beer and you are set to order one of his delicious pizzas. What a great time it was to hear of his philosophy and business success. If you don&#39;t feel like going out they also deliver. Super high quality ingredients, hell even the pepper is sourced from Madagascar. Skip the overpriced  fancy places in Lecce, dine like the locals , treat yourself to Pizza Carpe Diem

Beautiful restaurant, but despite our reservations, we were shoved in a back room that lacked the ambiance of the beautiful rooms in the main area. Felt we were treated with disdain because we weren&rsquo;t Italian. He other tables definitely received better consideration in service and seating. Food was excellent.

Six of us ate here and found the food excellent. It was an interesting and creative cuisine,, ample portions and well presented. An enjoyable evening.

How much did we like it? Heading back tomorrow for a second night! Pork in an amazing mustard sauce was my highlight. My wife had a pasta in a rich truffles sauce with guanciale. Both were top class dishes plus had some great recommended wines

We had an excellent, quite inexpensive meal at this restaurant, with three friends.  We could not believe the size of the portions, and everything was tasty.  It was also quiet, unlike many other places, so we could actually hear one another talk!
